The SunTec™ Rehab bed allows therapeutic positioning for patients who should lie in a prescribed position. Positions include trendelenberg, reverse trendelenburg, and others.

Therapeutic positions include: High cardiac chair, Straight-line trendelenberg, Postural drainage, Straight-line reverse trendelenburg, and Fowler. In addition to head, knee, and high-low functions the SR4A Rehab Bed allows therapeutic positioning for patients who should lie in a prescribed position. Hand control can be snapped into side rails making it easy to locate and reach, while reducing the chance of damage. Low voltage operation ensures safety. Beautifully stylized wood bed panels make the SR4A attractive in any room. Bed panels also slip off and on again easily, providing easier access to the patient for grooming or other needs. 500 pound operating capacity. This is the total weight of the mattress, patient, bedding and accessories. Emergency crank allows all positions to be achieved manually in the event of a power failure. Robotically welded grid sleeping surface for superior strength, durability and reliability.

Q1:	What is the bed's weight capacity?
A1:	The bed has a capacity of 500 pounds distributed evenly on the sleeping surface. This is the total weight of the patient, mattress, bedding and accessories.

Q2:	Can I make the bed longer?
A2:	Yes. Purchase N344 bed extender which makes the sleep surface 4'' longer. You will also need to purchase an 84'' mattress.

Q3:	Can I purchase the Rehab bed to include the mattress and bed rails?
A3:	No. The Rehab bed is sold alone. You will have to order a mattress and bed rails separately.

Q4:	What is unique about this bed?
A4:	The Rehab bed is designed for therapeutic positioning to include: high cardiac chair, straight-line trendelenberg, postural drainage, straight-line reverse trendelenburg, and fowler.

Q5:	How does the staff control system work?
A5:	You can lockout the patient's ability to operate the bed. Bed operations are then controlled at the foot of the bed on the staff control panel. An indicator light is illuminated on the staff control when the lockout is engaged. Specific directions can be viewed in the User's Manual.

Q6:	How do I use the trendelenburg control?
A6:	Specific directions can be viewed in the User's Manual. 1. Lower head and knee to flat position. 2. Raise bed to highest position. 3. Slide silver lever of Trendelenburg Control to the right and engage in detent. 4. Lower the bed with either the Pendant or Staff Control System to desired Trendelenburg angle.

Q7:	How does the grip lock system work?
A7:	To lock the bed, step on the red pedal. To unlock casters, step on the green pedal.
